Talented aspirants who want to become the Miss Q & A Binalonan flocked into the Binalonan Rock Garden on Nov. 24 for the eventโs initial screening which drew in huge crowd of spectators.
The said activity was inspired by a popular segment of the same concept from ABS-CBNโs high-rating noontime show, Itโs Showtime.
Likewise, the search has already conducted its second elimination round held Dec. 1 at the Binalonan Town Hall Grounds.
As originally planned, only Binalonians 18 and above could join the search but during the second elimination round, contestants from nearby towns were allowed by the organizing committee and declared two sets of winners-local and invitational.
Winners during the first and second elimination rounds are already qualified for the finals on December 29.
A part of the 2017 Christmas Bazaar, the event was organized by Janet Flores, SB secretary; Angelica Peregrino, tourism coordinator; Evangeline Acuar, senior administrative assistant III and Christian John Milanes, municipal photographer.
With the assistance of the municipal government headed by Mayor Ramon Guico III, and support of Vice Mayor Melicio Patague II and the Municipal Councilors, Miss Q & A Binalonan is expected to have a doubly successful coronation night.
