Binalonan features its own Binalonan Longanisa. Binalonan is with clean public market and food terminal where one can taste the local food. Binalonan is a place to be. Binalonan is not only a watering hole. It also offers unique academic institutions backed with solid government infrastructure and social facilities where one can invest years of stay to learn, live, and love.

Carlos Bulosan Day
The municipal council of Binalonan enacted an ordinance 11 years ago declaring Sept. 11 as Carlos Bulosan Day, the famous Filipino novelist’s death anniversary. Bulosan, who is a known son of Binalonan is not only globally recognized as a novelist but he is also a celebrated short story writer, poet and essayist. Carlos Bulosan’s entire life & works, represents the heroic struggles and sacrifices of the Filipino community as a colonized and an emergent national agency in world history. He is one of the many Filipinos who found themselves in the United States in the two decades before and after World War II. The discrimination and unhealthy working conditions Bulosan’s had experienced in many of his workplaces inspired his literary pieces. He became a self-educated and prolific writer determined to voice the struggles of a society filled with entrenched attitude of othering.
Bible Week
Held every fourth week of January, Bible Week is Binalonan’s initiative in upholding one of its core values, “Maka-Diyos”. The town focuses on the importance of reading and studying the Bible and its role in molding the spiritual, moral, and social fiber of Binalonan.
Drug Surenderees Skills Training
The administration is keen on empowering drug surrenderees by assisting them in changing their lifestyle and helping them move to a healthier and drug-free future by providing skills training that will adjust their régime and maybe find their “better self” in the process.
Hal Urban Character Formation Seminar
This seminar is an initiative that aims to benefit society in creating a caring growth-oriented Binalonan. This seminar is modeled from Dr. Hal Urban, a teacher, author and motivational speaker on character, and his take on educating and character building. The administration provides training days, seminars and resources so that the people of Binalonan can grasps the goals of the program and can send the same positive message to others.
Binalonan Blood Drive
This is one of the charitable activities in Binalonan wherein the constituents of the town donate blood. With the generous act of blood-letting comes with the youthful heart of the leaders of Binalonan because during the event, the municipal officials draw attention when they wore Halloween costumes to attact more blood donors… and they successfully did.
Mayor's Cup
This event is intended for those who work under the municipality of Binalonan. The series of activities are considered as their working break with fun-filled sports event.
Women's Month
Binalonan also observes Women’s Month every March. This is due to the Presidential Proclamation No. 227 Series of 1988 declares the observance of the Month of March as Women’s Role in History Month and Republic Act No. 6949 Series of 1990 declares March 8 of every year as National Women’s Day which aims to give recognition to the contributions of Filipino women in our society. The municipality is one with the country in ensuring that man and woman will be partners in the pursuit of the country’s economic, social, cultural and political developments.
