Twenty trainees on May 8 were awarded Certificates of Completion during the Graduation Ceremony for Skills Training on Housekeeping National Certificate II at the Binalonan Rock Garden Tent.
For almost a month, the graduates underwent free training from the Sustainable Livelihood Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development at the Graystone Institute of the Philippines in Dagupan City.
They were also provided transportation and food allowances and other financial assistance.
Dr. Aurora Jalocon, chairman and chief executive officer of GIP expressed her willingness to conduct free seminar on housekeeping for NC III in Binalonan if there would be more than 25 participants.
Mrs. Teresita Dacpano, head of the Press and Publication Office of Binalonan, emphasized the importance of having NC II in seeking for employment here and abroad.
In behalf of Mayor Ramon Guico III and Vice Mayor Melicio Patague II, Dacpano expressed her greetings to the graduates.
Municipal Social Worker and Development Officer Mrs. Marilyn Imbat expressed her gratitude to GIP and wished the graduates immediate employment.
DSWD Provincial Coordinator Ronald Gabriel commended the municipal government of Binalonan and DSWD Binalonan for supporting the training.
