A licensed Zumba instructor from Binalonan participated in the Guinness World Record for the largest zumba class set by Pili, Camarines Sur.
Junnalyne Gabriel Gabot was one of the presenters during the opening festivities of the 9-day Kaogma Festival held May 19.
Dubbed as “Grand Zumba Kontra Droga,” the event was participated in by a whopping 13,350 participants from the entire Camarines Sur and other parts of the country, successfully breaking the record Mandaluyong City with 12, 975 participants in 2015.
Gabot, who began her career in 2013, also one of the four ZIN delegates from the country to join the Asia Zumba Conference in Chiba, Japan.
Furthermore, this school nurse of WCC Aeronautical Technological College of Binalonan, has conducted Zumba classes for DepED during Alternative Learning System and Gender and Development trainings at SM and CB Mall in Urdaneta, for drug offenders for their rehabilitation program, and the Health and Wellness program of LGU Binalonan.
An avid advocate of “Binalonan, Ang Galing” she invites enthusiasts from nearby towns to come to Binalonan and join her Zumba classes so that they “can see the real beauty of Binalonan.”
