Selected beneficiaries from Binalonian on June 26 received different health services when the Provincial Health Office of Pangasinan conducted the I Love Pangasinan Kalusugan Karavan (ILPKK) 2018 Season 3 in Linmansangan Elementary School.
Executive Assistant IV Ramon Morden, Linmansangan Punong Barangay Renato Legaspi and the other barangay officials graced the said event.
Dr. Framila Dela Cruz, municipal health officer of Binalonan, and the MHO staff provided assistance to the PHO staff.
The Kalusugan Karavan, a project of the Pangasinan provincial government, aims to βreduce gap on access to basic health services by bringing along various health services to the community.β
Flu vaccination, laboratory diagnostic examination, medical consultation for adults and children, chest X-ray, eye refraction test and free eye glasses for senior citizens, oral care such as tooth extraction and examination and skin disease consultation were provided to the clients.
Supplemental feeding for children and senior citizens, water sanitation services, lectures on different health programs, installation of treated nets for schools, haircut and dog vaccination were also given.
Organized in 2017 with the leadership of Karina Espino, wife of Pangasinan Governor Amado Espino III, the IPKLL has already been conducted in the different barangays of the province.
Barangay San Felipe Sur and Barangay Sumabnit were already recipients of the provincial mobile health caravan.
