The Municipality of Binalonan will be awarded 2017 Best Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency Program Implementer of Pangasinan II Division based on the number of passers.
For the District Category, Binalonan II ranked 1st with 95 passers, followed by Binalonan I with 59 and Mangaldan with 58 passers.
Meanwhile, for the Individual Category, Shirley Laroya was hailed as best district ALS coordinator of Binalonan II, which produced 80 passers. She is followed by Aurea Prado, Mobile Teacher of Mangaldan II with 47 passers; Jennica De Guzman, Mobile Teacher of San Jacinto, with 39 passers; and Maria Teresa Libao, Mobile Teacher of Binalonan I, with 35 passers.
For municipalities with two districts, Binalonan ranked 1st with 154 passers, followed by Mangaldan with 121 passers, and Rosales with 81 passers.
In 2016, Binalonan was third in the municipal category with two districts, while Binalonan I was first in the district category. In the teacher category, Teresa Libao, DALSC/Mobile Teacher of Binalonan I ranked first, while Shirley Laroya, DALSC of Binalonan II ranked eight.
The ALS Graduation Day and Moving Up Ceremony was held on May 26 at the Sison Auditorium, Capitol, Lingayen, Pangasinan.
Binalonan Mayor Ramon Guico III, Vice Mayor Melicio Patague II, Councilors Dr. Noel Apolinario Bautista and Dr. Josephine Caburnay, Pangasinan II Schools Division Superintendent Atty. Donato Balderas Jr., Assistant Schools Division Superintendents Dr. Ely Ubaldo and Dr. Vivian Pagatpatan, Binalonan I and II District Supervisors Dr. Ana Jean Asuncion and Dr. Ferdinand Cabrera respectively and Noli Tibule, Marlyn Cueva both Binalonan school head category coordinators for ALS, school heads Jessica Bautista and Fermin Soriano with ALS teachers Joselito Nunez and Romeo Arcangel attended the ceremony.
The awarding of certificates and plaques of recognition will be conducted on August 8 during the ALS Graduation Day Moving Up Exercises and Recognition Day at the Sison Auditorium, Capitol, Lingayen, Pangasinan.
