To promote security, peace and order through responsible gun ownership, the Municipality of Binalonan in coordination with the Regional PNP organized and sponsored the License To Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF) Caravan on Sept. 21 at the Rock Garden Tent.
Prior to the event, LGU Binalonan released the necessary requirements for those interested to avail of its services, include LTOPG firearms registration with NP and drug test, police clearance (R2Clearance and gun safety seminar.
Applicants were advised to secure the requirements in original copies before the caravan.
Meanwhile, other requirements such as the application forms, NP clearance, drug test result, gun safety certificate were available during the caravan.
PSupt. Christopher T. Acop, Chief RCSU1, PSupt. Theodore A. Perez, Assistant Chief, PINSP Mary Ann Mason, Liason Firearms & Explosives Section of RCSU I and PCI Arvin G. Jacob of Binalonan spearheaded the monitoring of the event.
On the other hand, PCI Arvin G. Jacob, Chief of PNP Binalonan welcome all guests and participants in the caravan.
Councilor Lorenzo Tambo, Chairman on Peace & Order/Public Safety of the Sangguniang Bayan thank all the regional officials who came over to oversee the registration. He also applauded the applicants and attendees in said caravan
Hon. Danny C. Uy, mayor of the municipality of Sison, came to avail of the LTOPF.
