Forty- nine Binalonians received their Certificates of Completion on October 24 after attending a 15-day Mobile Skills Training Project (MSTP) on Basic Electrical and Basic Carpentry during the Graduation Ceremony held at the Binalonan Rock Garden Tent.
The 18 graduates of Basic Carpentry and Β 31 Basic Electrical who availed of the Program of the Pangasinan Employment Services OfficeΒ (PESO)Β with the assistance of TESDAΒ had their training at the Municipal Rock Garden Grounds and inside the Tent Center will be given some cash incentives from the provincial government aside from the hands-on skills training and their certificates.
Municipal PESOΒ Manager and HRΒ Officer Evangeline Redila welcomedΒ guests, visitors and the graduates. She commended the PESO of Pangasinan for considering Binalonan as a venue in their programs like the Mobile Skills Training Project (MSTP) andΒ the Job On Wheels.
Acting Provincial Director of TESDA Rosa Untalan, represented by Alex Lopena challenged the graduates represented by some municipal employees, ALS students and community people from different barangays of the town to use the skills they have learnedΒ to find employment andΒ improve their livelihood.
Meanwhile, PESO Officer Richelle M. Raguindin, expressed her appreciation to LGU Binalonan for accommodating the MSTP in the municipality under Mayor Ramon N. Guico, Jr. and wished the graduates immediate employment.
Provincial PESO Manager, Alex Ferrer was represented by Rachel Jose who cited that the PESO office has been continuously providing job opportunities and necessary skills training in Pangasinan. She further underscored that in order to provide more jobs, more programs are being undertaken to support and strengthen the employment facilitation in the province.
