The Binalonan Association of Southern California (BASC) in coordination with the municipal government on December 14 conducted a Medical-Dental Mission and Feeding Program held at the Social Hall of the South Central School.
Chaired by Mrs. Binalonan of the BASC , Mercuria T. Castaneto with the leadership of the associationβs President, Dr. Priscilla C. Ruedas and with the assistance of Juan G. Macaraeg National High School (JGMNHS) Batch 1981, the mission was successfully participated by volunteer doctors and dentists of Binalonan .
Taking the lead among the volunteers were Municipal Councilors Dr. Josephine Caburnay and Dr. Noel Apolinario Bautista and Rural Health Unit Medical Officer, Dr. Framilla C. De La Cruz.
The feeding program was organized by Batch β81 Mercuria Castaneto chaired by Fermin Soriano, head teacher of CABES in Mangcasuy.
The participation of the. 24 barangay captains headed by ABC President Rodelito Alibuyog was generated. They submitted and recommended participants in three groups: medical consultation for children and adults and another group for dental from each of their barangay.
Aside from the feeding program, all patients were given some gifts while children were given apples.
To the delight of everyone a raffle draw was undertaken with christmas gifts given to the lucky recipients.
