Pangasinan Fifth District Representative and Former Binalonan Mayor Ramon V. Guico III on December 20 was given recognition as three-termer mayor during the Municipal Officials and Employees Day held at Ramon J. Guico Sr. Sports and Civic Center.
For having completed three consecutive terms, Congressman Guico, former mayor of Binalonan was awarded an 18k gold ring which βstands for and in recognition of his unending loyalty, support, kindness, and concern for the people of Binalonan.β
Guico III was also given his portrait as a βsymbol of his untarnished image he has established as government official- dynamic, innovative, hardworking, and excellent.β
His table sign was also gifted to him as a βsouvenir for having established a name synonymous to unselfish, dedicated and committed public service.β
Former Councilor Carl Joseph Patawaran was also given recognition and the same memorabilia for being municipal councilor for three consecutive terms.
Binalonan Mayor Ramon N. Guico Jr., who celebrated his birthday on December 10 was given birthday tribute by Teresita Dacpano, head of the Municipal Press and Publication Office.
Plaques of recognition and cash prizes were awarded to Model Employees of the Year-Evangeline Acuar, Executive Assisstant IV, and Alfredo Aradanas, Agricultural Technologist for Senior Permanent; Alma Valdez, Administrative Aide IV, and Manuel Luis Jr. for Junior Permanent.
For the contractuals, awarded were Teresita Dacpano, Head, Municipal Press and Publication, and Jose Padillo, Vice President for Academic Affairs of the University of Eastern Pangasinan.
For the job order position, awarded were Jennifer Lagmay, Richard Dela Cruz, Imelda Olimpo and Carlos Domingo.
For the Retro Dance Competition, cash prizes were awarded to: first place,Β Cluster 3 (DA, RHU, HR, DSWD, POST OFFICE), second place, Cluster 5 (DRRMO, PNP, BFP, TEAM), third place, Cluster 2 (MTO, MCR, MBO, MAO, SB, COMELEC, GRAB), fourth place, Cluster 6 (UEP), fifth place, Cluster 1 (MO, MENRO, OMA, MPDO, MEO, PRESS, MTC, COA, DILG) and sixth place, Cluster 4Β (MARKET, GENERAL SERVICES).
Meanwhile, Binalonan Municipal Employees Association (BiMEA), which spearheaded the celebration, launched its βAdopt a School Project,β a social service of the association. BiMEA gifted Casantiagoan Elementary School seven electric fans.
Congressman Guico and Mayor Guico commended BiMEA President Manuel Luis, Jr. and the officers for spearheading the occasion.
