Pangasinan Fifth District Representative Ramon V. Guico III represented by his wife Madam Maan Guico and Binalonan Mayor Ramon N. Guico Jr. on January 17 cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Multi-Purpose Building of Barangay Sto. Nino.
Assisted the Guicos during the ribbon cutting were Vice Mayor Melicio Patague II, Councilor Bryan Louie Balangue, Punong BarangayΒ of Sto. Nino, Spassky Cabida and members of the Sto. Nino Barangay Council.
MSWD Officer, Marilyn Imbat, Downriver Filipino-American Association (DFAA) President, Mr. Bert Custodio, MSWD workers, and other guests also attended the inauguration.
Located on Araneta Street, the building houses the Child Development Center (Day Care Center) and the Senior Citizens Office.
Aldo Soriano, barangay secretary, informed that the fund for the construction of the building came from the Barangay Development Fund.
Rev. Fr. Numeriano Gabot, parish priest of the Sto. Nino Parish Church of Binalonan did the blessing of the newly-constructed multi-purpose building.
