Binalonians from the different sectors on February 15 celebrated Thanksgiving Night at the Binalonan Amphitheater.
Spearheaded by the Binalonan Ministers Fellowship (BMF), the celebration featured Scripture reading, messages, prayers, praise and worship, dances, songs, talks, and raffle draws.
In his opening remarks, Pastor Reynaldo Morales, BMF chairman, stressed that despite the unpleasant happenings in the country and in the other parts of the world βwe have a lot of things to thank for.β
With the theme of this yearβs town fiesta, βBulos-an Binalonians: Magun-od Pagsisiyaatan,β Bishop Jesus Michael Gomez reminiscedΒ Binalonan several years. He praised the Lord and commended the municipal officials for the progress of the town. Bishop Gomez also discussed the principles in achieving success and progress.
Vice Mayor Melicio Patague II expressed his gratitude to Congressman Guico III and Mayor Guico Jr. for designating him as chairman of the Executive Committee of this yearβs town fiesta.
Meanwhile, Mayor Guico thanked the BMF for spearheading the occasion and being partner of the LGU for its Maka-Diyos program. Guico mentioned some of the many landmark projects of the municipal government. He added, βMarami pang darating.β
Congressman Guico talked about some of his completed, on going and future projects for Binalonan and the fifth district of Pangasinan. He particularly mentioned the Japanese firm which will be fully operationalΒ in about two years and will provide 10 to 12 jobs for Binalonians and the fifth district of Pangasinan.
