LGU Binalonan set guidelines on the Skeletal Workforce in the municipality from March 17- April 12, in a meeting held, March 17 at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall by Mayor Ramon N. Guico Jr. and all LGU department heads
This meeting was undertaken since President Rodrigo Duterte has placed the entire Luzon under enhanced community quarantine to contain the spread of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Meantime, the memorandum from the president Β also orders the implementation of alternative working arrangements in the executive branch. The alternative work schemes include βwork-from-home, compressed workweek, staggered working hours, and creation of skeletal workforces.β
A memorandum of the local chief executive crafted in the meeting on the skeletal workforce of the LGU includes the following:
- Department heads shall report daily.
- Each office will have no less than 2 but not more than 4 employees rendering frontline services reporting every day.
- Job order employees shall participate in the shifts to be given by their respective department heads.
All LGU department heads Β shall be responsible for implementing measures to implement the guidelines set by the mayor on the skeletal workforce.
The βenhancedβ community quarantine, implements βstrictβ home quarantine in all households, suspends transportation, regulates food and essential health services, and heightens the presence of uniformed personnel to enforce quarantine procedures.
