Feb. 18 was a night for history, or as Binalonians would have it, comedy books. The Binalonan Events Tent temporarily became a “comedy bar” where the best and brightest stand-up comedians from Baguio City set the audience into jolts of endless laughter with a range of tasteful to timelessly unabashed jokes matched by entertaining song and dance numbers.
Talk about ending with a bang!
The final stretch of the 13-day long Binalonan town fiesta concluded on Feb. 20 with a “Dance Revolution” at the Binalonan Public Auditorium.
The best speed cubers from Northern Luzon on Feb. 15 faced off during the Rubik’s Cube Tournament held in Binalonan during its town fiesta.
Who would have thought that playing traditional games will be more fun while wearing pajamas?
The local musical rendition of “Beauty and the Beast” earned raves from Binalonians during its two-day presentation on February 8-9 at Ramon J. Guico, Sr. Sports and Civic Center. Audiences, composed of teachers, students, local tourists, guests, and theatrical enthusiasts, praised the production for its excellent acting, sharpened narratives and fast pacing without deviating from the original story.
Ms. Charisse Maica L. Lemon, an education student of the University of Eastern Pangasinan, from Sta. Catalina won the most coveted title of Miss Binalonan 2018.
