Binalonan Food Terminal Inaugurated

March 2011 – The Binalonan Food Terminal located beside the Binalonan Public Market was inaugurated March 23.
 
No less than Atty. Cipriano Santiago, Regional Director of the Department of Agriculture of Region I, attended the inauguration. He was the guest honor and speaker.
 
“I am very happy to see that Mayor Guico implemented this project. It goes to show that your town executive is very much concern with the plight of the farmers in the municipality,” said Atty. Santiago. “The Food Terminal project was originally the Bagkasan Center. But since most of these kind of centers did not fare well in its productivity, bumagsak sila. Thus it was renamed to Food Terminal,” the director further said.
 
Director Santiago in his commendation said, “This us a monumental accomplishment of Mayor Guico. He deserves my congratulations for a job well done.”
 
The ribbon-cutting of the Food Terminal before the program was done by Director Santiago and Mayor Ramon V. Guico III. Also present were Vice-Mayor Renato E. Legaspi, Sangguniang Bayan members, barangay officials and DepEd school administrators.
